Brown Fused Alumina: Brown Fused Alumina is compound or artificial corundum made from raw bauxite followed by different process like calcination, melting, crushing, & grading. It is the hard & most tough material after diamond with about 9 Mohs hardness, which make it the best for abrasive applications.
CapAlumina A: CapAlumina A is brown fused alumina abrasive (A) grade with highest purity, manufactured by Capstone Abrasives Company with industrial standards. To maintain the purity, we use high alumina content calcined bauxite, melting at around 2200°C temperature, which helps to improve the hardness as well as toughness in final goods.
